With a focus on advanced solutions such as liposome encapsulation and alternative fats, Rollux aims to push the boundaries of how food is developed and experienced. As a science-led brand in a competitive and evolving industry, Rollux required a visual identity that could communicate technical credibility while remaining approachable and contemporary.

Objective
The objective of this project was to build a strong and cohesive brand identity that clearly represented Rollux’s expertise in food technology. The identity needed to reflect innovation and precision while remaining versatile enough to work across digital platforms, physical applications, and future brand extensions.


Problem
Despite its strong technical foundation, Rollux lacked a distinct visual system that could clearly communicate its positioning. The absence of a defined identity made it difficult for the brand to stand out in the food tech space or establish immediate recognition. There was a need for a visual language that balanced scientific rigor with warmth and accessibility.


Solution
To address this challenge, Rixel Studio crafted a comprehensive branding system tailored to Rollux’s unique positioning. The solution focused on defining a bold, tech-savvy visual identity that balanced precision with approachability. Key brand elements were developed with an emphasis on versatility and clarity, ensuring the identity could adapt across print and digital platforms.
The system included a refined logo, typography, colour palette, and supporting graphic elements designed to unify all expressions of the brand. A distinctive light green palette was chosen to convey freshness and innovation, paired with a strong typographic voice (Big Shoulders Stencil) to reinforce the brand’s confident and forward-looking character.

Concept
The concept behind the identity was rooted in positioning Rollux as a forward-thinking food tech brand that merges science with real-world impact. The visual direction draws from ideas of precision and innovation, expressed through clean typography and a fresh yet technical colour palette.
The result is an identity that feels modern and credible, while remaining approachable. This reinforced Rollux’s mission to innovate within food technology in a way that is both intelligent and human-centred.
