Timbr is a furniture brand that offers timeless pieces designed to bring sophistication and thoughtful functionality into interiors. Rooted in a fusion of craftsmanship and contemporary design, Timbr strives to create furniture that enhances everyday spaces while reflecting an elevated yet approachable aesthetic. The goal was to articulate this philosophy through a visual identity that resonates with both design-savvy audiences and everyday consumers.

Objective
The objective of this project was to develop a cohesive brand identity that communicates Timbr’s values of craftsmanship and enduring design. The visual system needed to clearly distinguish Timbr in a competitive category while echoing the brand’s commitment to quality and thoughtful form. The identity also had to be versatile across both digital channels and physical brand touchpoints, such as packaging, signage, and social media.


Problem
Before the rebrand, Timbr was operating without a defined visual language, which made it difficult for the brand to establish a memorable presence and connect meaningfully with its audience. In a category crowded with minimal trends and look-alike identities, Timbr needed a distinct visual system that could communicate both refined craftsmanship and contemporary appeal without relying on generic furniture branding conventions.


Solution
Rixel Studio approached the identity with a focus on refined simplicity. A strong logotype was created as the foundation of the visual system, reflecting the brand’s clean lines and thoughtful design ethos. Paired with a balanced typographic structure and a considered colour palette, the system gives Timbr a confident visual voice that stands apart in the furniture category.
The identity was designed to be flexible, ensuring consistency whether it’s applied on digital platforms, collateral, or physical environments. This approach allows Timbr’s design philosophy to shine through in every brand expression.

Concept
The concept behind Timbr’s brand identity centres on expressing simplicity without sacrificing meaning. Every choice in the visual system including the logotype’s proportions, the visual textures, and spatial dynamics was informed by the brand’s belief in purposeful design. The identity balances minimalism with depth, creating a visual language that feels grounded and distinguished.
The result is a brand identity that not only mirrors Timbr’s refined furniture aesthetic but also supports a compelling narrative that invites audiences to appreciate thoughtful design in both form and function.
